Toto Spares, Toto parts, Toto spare parts, Spare code no : TEN12EV800 - Auto Faucet Cold water spout basin mixer,
- TEN12EV800 is listed in TOTO’s product listings / dealer catalogs as an automatic faucet cold water spout.
- One listing describes “TOTO Automatic Faucet TEN 12EV800 — faucet only (1 pc)” indicating it's sold as the spout / faucet unit (presumably with sensor / controller)
- It appears alongside other TOTO auto‑faucets in the same catalog / range, indicating it is part of TOTO’s sensor / automatic faucet line.
So, this is a sensor / automatic cold water faucet (i.e. no hot water mixing) that you can use on basins, likely deck mounted or wall mounted depending on the variant and installation.
Likely advantages / benefits of using TEN12EV800 (Auto Faucet)
Given TOTO’s technology and what auto faucets typically offer, here are the advantages you would expect:
Feature / BenefitExplanation / Why it mattersHands‑free / touchless operationBecause it is sensor‑activated, users don’t need to physically touch handles. This improves hygiene (less cross‑contamination) especially in washroom / public / high usage settings.Water saving / efficient flowAuto faucets typically run for only as long as hands are under the sensor, minimizing wastage. Also, TOTO often integrates technologies (e.g. Aerator, ECO flow, etc.) to optimize usage.Consistent water temperature (for cold only unit)As a cold‑only faucet, it simplifies plumbing (no mixing, no risk of scalding) and ensures stable cold flow.Reduced maintenance / better controlBecause the valve is automated, wear on mechanical handles is avoided. Also, the control electronics / sensor can regulate shutoff, reducing drips.Aesthetic / modern designAuto / sensor faucets are often sleek, minimal, modern in appearance, suiting contemporary bathrooms.Compatibility with public / commercial settingsSuch taps are well suited for public restrooms, hotels, hospitals etc., where hygiene, durability, and water conservation are important.Energy / power optionsMany of TOTO’s auto faucets have self‑powered or energy efficiency features (e.g. generating power from water flow or low power consumption) in other models (though I couldn’t confirm for TEN12EV800)Less handling / wearNo mechanical lever reduces mechanical wear and failure points from repeated use.
